Home-Based Workers Concern Society Nepal (HBWCSN) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Researcher/Consultant to join our team and help advance the rights and recognition of home-based workers across Nepal.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional committed to social justi experience in research, policy analysis, and labour rights. The selected candidate will play a key role in generating evidence, supporting advocacy initiatives, and contributing to research that influences policies on home-based work and the care economy.

- Duty Station: Ratopul, Kathmandu, Bagmati Province
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Master's degree in Law, Labour Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
- At least five years of demonstrated experience in research, policy or strategy development, labour rights, care work, or assessment of national and international legal instruments.
- Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills in English, along with excellent communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Proficiency in Zoom, Viber, other communication platforms, and essential computer applications.
- A genuine interest in working alongside home-based worker women groups and supporting their voices through research and advocacy.
