Pratima Pokhrel truly believed that every single child—no matter their circumstances—deserves the opportunity to pursue an education and build a brighter future. Today, the Pratima Pokhrel Memorial Scholarship keeps her beautiful vision and compassion alive.

This year, we are honoured to award scholarships to eight remarkable young girls from home-based worker families across our chapters: three in Kathmandu, four in Dharan and one in Rangeli. To support them on their educational journey, students received a package filled with school supplies, stationery and clothing to meet their needs throughout the year.

None of this would be possible without the deeply meaningful generosity of Ms Dikshya Devkota (Pratima ma'am’s granddaughter) and Mr Sital Uprety. Their support isn't just a financial contribution; it is a beautiful continuation of Pratima Ma'am's enduring legacy of kindness, care and commitment to social justice. We are deeply grateful for their dedication to this initiative.

To our eight recipients: Heartfelt congratulations! Your determination to learn inspires us all. We hope this support encourages you to keep striving toward your dreams with confidence and hope. We are incredibly proud of each of you, and we wish you every success in the years ahead.
